Ana and Rob’s elopement was everything they wanted it to be, simple, intimate, and full of heart. They chose the Galisteo Basin Preserve in New Mexico, a total hidden gem that’s perfect for couples wanting to keep things low-key. Nestled in the high desert, the location is all about wide-open skies, native shrubbery, and sweeping mountain views. With only their closest family and spouses there to witness the day, Ana and Rob were able to focus entirely on each other in a way that only an intimate elopement can offer.
New Mexico is full of epic spots for couples wanting to ditch the big wedding and elope somewhere off the beaten path. While places like Santa Fe or Taos get a lot of love, New Mexico’s hidden gems, like the Galisteo Basin, really steal the show. Between the wild desert landscape and the incredible skies, it’s easy to see why this state is such a great choice for an unforgettable elopement.
Ana and Rob’s day was the perfect example of how less can really be more, no big crowds, no distractions, just the two of them surrounded by the beauty of New Mexico. It was simple but packed with meaning, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
